Bangladeshi police killed nine suspected Islamist extremists in a gun-battle July 26 after storming a hideout where they said a new mass attack was being planned. أعلن قائد شرطة مكافحة الإرهاب في دكا عاصمة بنغلادش، السبت، أن قوات الأمن قتلت 4 متشددين، من بينهم العقل المدبر لهجوم وقع على مقهى في دكا يوليو الماضي، وقتل به 22 شخصا معظمهم من الأجانب.
وقال منير الإسلام لـ”رويترز” إن المتشددين قتلوا خلال مداهمة لوكرهم في إحدى ضواحي دكا.
وأضاف أن تميم أحمد تشودري، الكندي المولود في بنغلادش، وهو العقل المدبر المزعوم للهجوم على المقهى، كان من بين القتلى.
